I already mention my love for Utapri and their songs so naturally I will enjoy this. But when I read Two Happy Cat’s blog post about this game and seeing that the official twitter confirming that the global version will follow the JP event schedule made my fears disappear and I can continue to enjoy this game without any lost.
Moving away from my fangirlness for a second, I was worried that they won’t be on the same event schedule as the JP server. Utano Princesama Shining Live January 19, 2018 We would like you to know that we are considering ways to introduce the past event/Photo Shoot idols in the game. If you caught KLab Games Station yesterday you heard that the Global version of the game will be on the same schedule as the Japan version. However, I knew Utapri is pretty successful in Japan and overseas and it’s so much easier to translate a mobile game than a full length visual novel so what I’ll say is this Utapri game is good as any. I was surprised and also not surprised about Utapri Shining Live coming overseas, considering how unfriendly the Utapri main series games are to international fans. Needless to say, Uta no Prince-sama: Shining Live is the a rhythm game with a lot of great songs sung by our Utapri boys and my favourite – Ranmaru (CV: Suzuki Tatsuhisa). Well, to be fair, I never played any of the main Utapri series games and I only watch the anime and their live concerts – which are amazing by the way – so I can’t make a fair judgement.
I’m a huge fan of Utapri, not so much on the otome game and anime side but heavily on the music and the seiyuu side. It’s available for iOS and Android smart devices.
Anywho, yeah, Uta no Prince-sama Shining Live is the mobile entry of the Utapri game franchise, published by KLab. Even the free UR was present in both version of the game. Nothing is new to me and everything is the same as I remember over in the JP version but the text is replaced in English. Just a heads up, I already played the JP version before but I moved over to the ENG version. With today’s global release of Uta no Prince-sama Shining Live, I had to download and talk about it.
